I've Been Tagged...and I've tagged Tayari, Shelia, Cherlyn, LadyLee and Angela Henry

Shelley Halima tagged me to see what 10 songs I've been listening to. As you can see, Jackson songs rate high in my life. They just make me want to shake my butt and I CANNOT dance at all. My steps rate kinda like the Peanuts gang. ROFL. Also love listening to the Mike Jones crew which is SOOO hot right now in Houston. And I started looking at the Waiting to Exhale movie, which made me want to listen to the soundtrack.

So these are the specific songs I've been listening to:
1. I Want You Back - The Jackson 5
2. ABC - The Jackson 5
3. The Love You Save - Jackson 5
4. Waiting to Exhale (Shoop Shoop) - Whitney Houston
5. Gotta Be - Jagged Edge
6. Butterflies - Michael Jackson
7. Sittin' Sidewayz - Paul Wall
8. Sugar Daddy - Jackson 5
9. Count On Me - Whitney Houston and Cece Winans
10. Truth - Janet Jackson (from the All For You CD)

Do you have that Best of the Jackson 5 CD??? Girl, I do. And I JUST took it out of rotation in my car so I could add something else. But you know I love to drive. I always have an old school CD in rotation and would bop down the highway to ABC, I WANT YOU BACK, and all their hits. I still love those songs!

Girl, I have all the old J5 songs: Soulsation is great. The Third Album, Maybe Tomorrow, Going Back to Indiana, the Essential Jacksons, dang I can't get enough. Little Mike was the BOMB! Did you used to dream about marrying him? :)

Hey Cydney, I bet you don't have the Jackson's TRIUMPH CD. You know, the one with "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Can You Feel It". I was just playing it yesterday. Now that CD is the bomb!!

(Any you use to dream about marrying him? I hope it was back in the seventies and eighties!) (LOL)

Ladylee,
Dang, I probably chunked that Triumph CD years ago, so I only have their hits from that one.

And like Cherlyn, dreaming about marrying Michael Jackson happened when he was 10 to 15 years old, when he was super cute, with the biggest brightest smile, beautiful eyes, and filled with charisma. I don't know what happened to him between the time he was a kid to now. Maybe Lisa Marie Presley knows something we don't know. :)

Cydney, Mrs. Michael Jackson, you don't have the TRIUMPH CD? Hmmm... I'm not gonna comment on that one...

I had to think long and hard about my reply. I am the designated lab D.J. at work, so this is right up my alley! I am an oldies but goodies junkie...I had about forty songs, but here are the most recent:

1. Now that we've found love..OJays
2. Roxanne's Revenge..Roxanne Shante
3. Do you Really want to hurt me?..Boy George and Culture Club
4. Soul Searchin' (I wanna Know if it's mine)..Me'Shell NdegeOcello
5. The Show..Dougie Fresh
6. Heartbreak Hotel..The Jacksons
7. I want to be Free..Ohio Players
8. Sugar Free..Juicy
9. Bite It..UTFO
10. Anyone who has a heart..Luther Vandross

I like a lot of old Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix too... But can't listen to too much of that... Makes me wanna go smoke some stuff I should NOT be smoking... :-)(LOL)

I also like Britney Spears, yes, THE Britney Spears. When she first came out, she was so hot. Dance moves, etc.
